MANAGEMENT TEAM
The V3 management team consists of an experienced group of business people who have direct experience of travel & tourism, working with SME businesses, successful growth of technology businesses, and building successful service-led businesses.
Shane Crockett - Executive Director and CEO
Shane brings over 20 years of experience in tourism; tourism technology, and travel industry dynamics to his current role as CEO of V3 where he has been responsible for the development of the leading new era open exchange technologies. Prior to V3 Shane was CEO of the Western Australian Tourism Commission , where he led the agency's destination marketing, infrastructure development, retail travel operations as well as the online travel information technology.
His wide ranging experience also includes having chaired the Australian Standing Committee on Tourism, the Australian Tourism Chief Executive Officer’s Forum as well as serving on numerous government, academic and private sector Boards and committees such as the Festival of Perth Board, Screen Industry Taskforce, and the Curtin University Board of Advisors for their Asia-Pacific Masters Program in Hotel and Resort Management and Chairman of Rally Australia.
Shane is recognized as one of Australia’s foremost tourism proponents who brings a vast range of knowledge and innovative thinking to the emerging technology and distribution developments of the tourism industry.
Stephen Wells - Executive Director
Stephen’s marketing experience spans almost 20 years. He has been involved in developing some of Australia's most successful marketing campaigns. In addition, he has developed and implemented co-operative agreements with most of Australia’s major distributors and providers of reservation and online booking systems (Polling Partners).
Stephen has also developed the corporate identities and marketing and online strategies for numerous successful leisure businesses, including national sports teams and tourism destinations.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science (Hons.)

Jim Swaby – Technology Manager
Jim is the Technology Manager for V3. Having over 12 years professional experience in the internet industry and over six years meeting the needs of integrating to online Distributors, reservations and booking systems, he provides an invaluable resource in making on-line technologies work for everyone in the tourism supply chain.
Andrew Lane – National Sales and Marketing Manager
Running the Sydney Office, Andrew is responsible for product and inventory acquisition. Andrew has a broad range of tourism experience extending over 15 years, including senior management roles in both Tourism Australia (then Australian Tourist Commission) and the Perth Convention Bureau. Andrew has a strong knowledge of the Open Booking Exchange solution and how it can benefit all levels of the tourism industry.
Jody Johnson – Services Manager
With 15 years experience in the travel industry and client support, Jody leads a dedicated team of support staff who are constantly monitoring and refining the support systems and materials for Providers, Distributors and Supply Partners. This includes management and audit of Help Desk and training staff, assessment, testing and processing of client feedback, involvement in the Software Development Team and continual updating of online user guides so that they always reflect the constantly evolving software functionality.
Christine Broadhurst – Accounts Manager
Christine is responsible for the day to day operations of V3’s sophisticated Payment Services. Christine leads an experienced team who ensure all participants in the new dynamic world of online tourism have their payments made in a secure neutral environment.
